Don’t ask me about my cause, ask me how my day was?

I am taking a break!
You will be asking yourself, a break from what?
I am taking a break from all the questions, suggestions and expectations.
Anyone who knows me personally, knows that I don’t share my opinion, no matter how big the discussion is, on Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platform.
But as I was talking lately with a lot of my friends, I thought to myself why not try to take some of the pressure off these people.
It doesn’t matter what point of your life you reached now. You can take a break. You don’t have to deserve a break; you can just take it. It isn’t something that you earn for yourself or anyone else. It is a birth right given, just like breathing. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for hard work and improvement, but I am also for being human, for changing your course in life, breaking free from your routine, for finding your real self and whatever it is you want to do.
Nowadays teenagers, young men and women are faced with pressure from our society and aunts rolling the eyes to have everything figured out. Where are you going to college? What are you studying? When are you getting married? How many kids will you be having? Did you get your high paid job yet?
I am 23 years old, just finished with my Masters and telling whoever needs to hear this, “I am taking a break for myself.” It’s going to be alright. We are going to have everything we ever wanted just in time, and if not, then it is not what we really needed.
Life is a gift. We should enjoy everyday of it. We should lift each other up. Support one another. We are going to face challenges every day. It's how life works.
Spread positivity. Don’t ask me about my cause, ask me how my day was?
